⚠️ Technical Advisory: The "Solvent Fraud"

In the Australian market, cheap quotes often hide a compromise in chemistry. Many use "30% Solids" products or secretly dilute 100% solids resin with up to 20% solvent on-site for a faster application.

"In an effort to underquote professional standards, some installers will market a project as '100% solids' to win the contract, only to secretly dilute the resin on-site with up to 20% solvent for a faster, easier application; this deceptive practice effectively voids the '100% solids' classification, turning a premium industrial product into a thinned-down coating that will inevitably suffer from evaporative shrinkage, micro-pitting, and premature delamination once the hidden solvents begin to outgas."
